Position description The Hospice Registered Nurse is accountable for the delivery of nursing services based on initial and ongoing assessments of patient needs and in accordance with the interdisciplinary team plan of care. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of care for assigned patients. The delivery of nursing services includes direct care, patient/family/caregiver support, instruction and education. In addition, the RN provides telephone triage and on-call responsibility 24/7. The ANA Standards ofEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
